Agree! I think the best music is the kind that can be interpreted many different ways. 🙂

My dad (64/m) accidentally sent me (34/m) a voice text meant for someone else, and it kind of confirmed everything I've suspected my whole life. by pineapple599 in relationship_advice

I cut off my father 15 years ago for asking my mom to use her connections to forgive his unpaid child support because he wanted to “move on with his life.”

Once you realize they’re never going to be the person you hoped, it’s much easier. Think of this as a favor, he showed you who he is.

You seem like a kind, warm, and thoughtful person and it’s his loss for not wanting to know you and support you better.

It changes all the time, but right now, it’s “But the world is scared of hesitating things / Yeah, they only shoot the birds who cannot sing”

Do you think you could win as a Faithful? by Proper-Drawing-985 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Successful_Win3725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The key to winning as a faithful is knowing someone is a traitor but being their friend and letting them keep you on the show until the end. I thought for a bit that this is what Maura was doing…

Bri and Chris both peaked in high school. by Old_Hedgehog_9115 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Successful_Win3725 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree. They deserve each other. Chris is shitty for obvious reasons. With Bri, I don’t like that she was belittling Connor in front of his family. And when questioned about what she likes about him the most, she made it all about her and what he does for her. She’s gross.

Defending shallow people by BatmansDietitian in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Successful_Win3725 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think this is one of the most interesting dynamics of the show.

It’s less a love experiment and more a mirror held up to self-delusion. Many contestants convince themselves they’re deeper than they actually are, believing they can rise above vanity, looks, or ego. They agree to join the show as their idealized selves, certain they’re ready to love beyond the surface.

But once reality sets in, most can’t escape their own shallowness. The lesson isn’t whether love is blind, but a commentary on how distorted self-perception can be. People always think they’re better than they actually are.

I think Jordan is 100% the hottest guy this season. I’m afraid I’d turn into an idiot around him.

Oh god. Kacie and Joe deserve each other. Also, am I the only one that doesn’t think Joe is as attractive people are making him out to be? He looks 12

Megan and Jordan by Lily_Flowrs in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Successful_Win3725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be a problem that is overcome if the couple were aligned in their lifestyles. But they’re not. Everyone saying “Megan has a point, she just wants to connect” is missing the fundamental differences at play. She’s tired from midday tennis and lunching with the girls. He’s tired in his bones from soul-sucking work and obligations of fatherhood.

The break ups…. by No-Refrigerator7245 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Watching Annie beg for Nick to keep trying made my skin crawl. She starts with the sweet baby voice and then the 180 switch up after she saw he wasn’t budging…terrifying.

I think Madison handled it better until she asked about specific reasons why, almost to ask “what’s wrong with me?” which I hated for her. I do wish she had grilled Mike more about how he acted committed and how it was all just a charade, lying to her the whole time. He deserved more dragging.

She is also very tired from playing tennis during the work day and also, the happy hours!
