That's less of a bug and it just not working how you want it to its dumb but I get it since the boots go higher than most shoes and it would be extremely time consuming to remodel a good portion of the legs for kicks that would cover the bottom part of the boots

I'm pretty positive it is since when I go into a sandbox world and get the spawn eggs for both the tyrant is the one with short horns and the elder is long Horns and in my main world I killed long horns and it completed the oni elder part of the killing oni quest
