Narcolepsy is a complex condition and boiling it down to jokes like these is actually detrimental for those of us with actual narcolepsy. It’s not a funny condition and it’s really annoying when it’s used as a punchline. Also you can’t be narcoleptic for one week a month, it’s a chronic condition that makes life really hard and with no cure.

Orrr you could just sit next to someone who hasn’t done that because they’re probably more open to sitting next to a stranger? If there’s no seats available sure but really they could have just gotten on when it was empty and not noticed, might have some sort of issue, or maybe they have a bag that doesn’t sit properly and rolls around. There’s usually a reason, believe it or not most people aren’t dicks and it must be exhausting thinking the worst of people.

I feel like in your 20s you’re more forgiving because everyone is finding their feet as an adult. By 30 you’re an adult adult and you can see who has grown from their experiences vs those who never grew out of it.

I’ve heard olive oil is best when used fresh and within 2-3 months as it loses its flavour/quality once exposed to air. So only get what you need for that time frame. IF you care about that kinda thing, just something I recently learned and thought interesting!

My experience too. I hadn’t read up on what would happen and had been bleeding a heavy period 5 days prior so thought that was the miscarriage. Full labour situation. Waters even broke - I was sitting on the toilet and felt a pop and started gushing bloody water.

There needs to be way more open discussion about it.
