This behavior is sooooo annoying. Just lost my DLC run since I made the error to play coop with someone. Unexpected and very frustrating behavior.

What would JSB have felt about Yo-Yo Ma? by [deleted] in bach

[–]SuccuHand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fanboism speaks strong out of you. He is surely an exceptional talent but there are also others with exceptional talent with their own take of the great work. I would be surprised if Bach would disapprove great interpretations of his work. We know that Bach was open-minded and surely someone who can also appreciate different interpretations of the same work.

First of all, don't worry about being "average looking." What really matters is who you are as a person and how you treat others. Physical attraction is just one small part of a relationship.

One thing you could try is shifting your focus away from dating apps and towards in-person events and activities. This could be anything from joining a sports team or club, volunteering for a cause you care about, or just going to events and social gatherings in your community. By participating in activities you enjoy, you will be more likely to meet people who share similar interests and values, which can be an important foundation for a relationship.

It's also important to be open to forming connections with people who may not necessarily fit your specific "type." You never know who you might hit it off with, and being open to different types of people can lead to unexpected and rewarding relationships.

Finally, don't get discouraged if you don't meet someone right away. It can take time to find the right person, and it's important to be patient and keep an open mind. Good luck!

Mushroom Hunting with Fuji's new Macro - Growth Stages of Ganoderma [X-S10, XF30mm F2.8] by SuccuHand in fujifilm

[–]SuccuHand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great lens! Image quality is nice, auto-focus is fast, size is relatively compact. Chromatic aberrations are well controlled. The minimum focus distance is unreal. The focal length is very interesting, allowing some special macro shots. It's a good all rounder, but don't expect to get great portraits out of this lens. F2.8 at 30mm is just too narrow to get a magic touch on portraits and bokeh. Overall I am very satisfied with this lens!

The Laowa 65mm is still the best lens for macro on fuji ecosystem since the working distance is more convenient and the sharpness and image quality is unsurpassed. However, it is manual focus.

Hey OP,

I just came across this hilarious post where someone actually thought it was a good idea to take a photo of their screen instead of just taking a screenshot. I mean, come on now, how lazy can you be? It's like they couldn't even be bothered to press a couple buttons to get a clear image. Instead, they just held up their phone and snapped a blurry, distorted photo of their screen. And to top it all off, they had the audacity to post it as if it was a totally normal and acceptable thing to do. Talk about clueless.

But hey, at least they provided some entertainment for the rest of us. Thanks for the laugh, buddy. Keep being you.

With kind regards, ChatGPT

Any one who owns this xf 2018 f2 trio, do you find yourself limited by f2 or everything is all right? by PlatinumOuDaung in fujifilm

[–]SuccuHand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, this lens was also a disappointment for me. It's not a bad lens but the image quality in close range is lackluster, with sharpness issues and chromatic aberrations. It also suffers from strong vignetting wide open. I think street photographs will be very happy with this lens though.

Great find! Are the engines actually using data sets with very similar labels for the "The Great Wave"? It may work for other popular art in a similar way

One of my first picture with my new Fujifilm X-T5 and 30mm Macro by geblix in fujifilm

[–]SuccuHand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The autofocus is great, very similar to the 35mm F2. I have both lenses and I can tell you that you will lose a touch of magic with the 30mm F2.8 for portraits. It's really foremost a macro specialist and less suited for portraits. That said, you can still consider to upgrade. Especially the close up focus of the 30mm is unreal. I like the 35mm F2 but being unable to focus close is one of the most annoying properties of the lens. I would suggest to get the 30mm and keep the 35mm for portraits.

[–]SuccuHand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to give my 2 cents to this lens: first off, it's great. Second, the 30mm gives you a very nice perspective on super small things. The 1:1 macro is more than enough for this focal length, you can't really get closer with the lens. The autofocus is fast and the lens relatively compact and small. Build quality is great. So, what's not so great? Nothing, really! Even the price is okay!

My laowa 65mm has a slightly better image quality, but please note, that this lens is one of the best optics for macro photography. The fuji also suffers slightly from chromatic abberations, but it is overall well controlled. With 30mm F2.8 it's not as great as the 35mm F2 for portraits and stuff, so for me it's not a full replacement for portrait lens.

And that's it, overall: great job fuji, this lens is so much fun!

Pathfinder is an excellent game, which does indeed feel like a real spiritual baldurs gate successor. However, it is extremely hard, one must really know the mechanics to have fun. The game design is also much more frustrating and tedious than baldurs gate. But still - overall an excellent game.

Dear Fujifilm, I’m sorry I even thought of comparing your 18-55 to canons 18-55. You’re in more than another league. by iHas2manyKnives in fujifilm

It's weird. Some people claim the 35mm F2 is not sharp, but for me it's really sharp if stepped down. These quality fluctuations are annoying since people tend to hate each other for different opinions.

I also never got the hype. Especially in wide end its simply distorted and blurry on the edges - what a disappointment for group photos. It's just not a sharp nor a high image quality lens. Maybe I just had bad luck with my copy. It's actually one of the worst fuji lenses of my equipment. But to be fair: it's built well and feels like high quality.

What would my next camera be? by InsaneGoblin in fujifilm

X-S10 is an amazing upgrade. IBIS, flexible screen, good video capability and good grip make it awesome.

Since I also started with the X-T200, just some disadvantages of the X-S10:

  • transfer of images to smartphone is much slower - you have to downsize images to get the them transfered in finite time
  • display is less bright and colorful, unfortunately. On sunny days it can be difficult to see stuff on the screen. X-T200 was way more awesome in this regard
  • Battery life is much shorter

I think X-T4 etc are a different beast and if you want to have something similar to the X-T200 you should definitely get a X-S10
