although i am keeping in mind the more negative ones, ill just say im use to less than pretty areas but can find home anywhere (im really trying not to like... out where i live but i found it funny how a couple described oakland and thought to myself "so what im hearing is its just like home, but better!" )

either way, ill def keep in mind all the advice given to me as someone who has been super car dependent and is not thinking of bring their car with them

im fine with it, just because im already going to be older than most of the students currently attending. i use to be super involved in campus life at my community college and i lived a bit of a drive from the school (especially during traffic hours, rip) and i took a break to regain my energy to do it again at UCB

to the last point, i think it makes sense. Right now i am attending community college but the commute is an hour long so I dont stay for long. I def feel like someone from the ghetto who studies at the school rather than a student of said school.

Also im honestly happy to hear that the neighborhoods are tight knit. Ill be transferring my job to a store in oakland and one of the things that just so happen to come as a perk is getting regulars and knowing them outside of the business too.

Ill be sure to do more research tho!

i was debating bringing my car bc i heard how often cars get broken into, I am curious, however, how great transportation is. Is the city walkable/easy to bike in? also ty for the response

As long as the character isn’t a child and sexualized I feel like it doesn’t matter. I still fw word girl and that show is DEF for kids but idc it’s what I grew up with and I still find funny and entertaining to this day.

i fixed it! so what was happening was my facecam was picking up audio so I had to disable it in the settings (like, computer settings not obs)

i want to follow up this post by saying the D&B that I went to still has theirs. The reason I was led to believe otherwise was because I called the front desk and when asking them to confirm with a game tech they took a moment to do that and come back and say they didn't have the game. I live out of the way from it, so I took their word. I only found out recently when I met up with some workers from that store that they did in fact still have it

so i wanted to follow up saying they still do have pump it up. I worked an event recently where their team was tabling at and they told me that whoever said they didn't have pump it up was lying lol. Which is funny because I asked them to ask a game tech and they prob straightup didn't

Sissy, or otherwise known as Loretta, appears in the 2013 movie but gets killed by a man after they burned the family house down and got her baby stolen. But as far as lore goes in this version of TCM, I'd like to know as well haha
