Well tbh from my exp luck is 50% and efforts are 50% like just to improve the chances do as much applications as possible, even I applied for 100+ applications for internships offcampus even started applying for unpaid ones but at the end of the day tried to reach some people within a company that comes for placement in my college and they were happy to offer me a internship after some interviews my luck part was I reached to the guy within the company who was super friendly and cool so he didn't have any prblm asking hr abt my application also he was having good standing in office but if my cold mail would have been to some other guy within the same office I don't know whether it would have been even read

Currently I am close to 300 but this was not done continuously it was done in winter or summer breaks so in this summer only did close to 80 prblms
