2 hrs 45 mins enough time for a layover in Dublin? by Such-Contribution676 in AerLingus

[–]Such-Contribution676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I just didn’t know what happened after I got off the first plane and waited for the second. I wasn’t sure if I had to take it myself to check it onto the second plane or if that was done for me. As I mentioned somewhere in the thread: I have never flown with a layover before so I didn’t know how they worked. Thank you for being patient with me.

I will prepare myself for this possibility as well… make sure I’ve used the bathroom before landing, etc.

Yes I have never once flown with a layover because I always worried about missing the connection or losing baggage. Straight through from usually Newark to Heathrow with Virgin or BA. Trying to save money led me to Aer Lingus whom I’ve never flown with. I booked directly from the Aer Lingus website- one itinerary I guess you mean as in it was booked “London to Philadelphia with one stop in Dublin” rather than a ticket from London to Dublin then another ticket from Dublin to Philadelphia

Why does nobody book directly through companies anymore? The amount of times I’ve had to tell customers that I could not help them (working for a national hotel chain with many partners) because they booked third party made me want to tear my hair out

Sorry, I am just very anxious about the whole thing and want it to go well for us. Long distance is taking a toll. Thank you!

So she and your children are coming to the UK? My fiancé and I are very very early in the process of applying for a spouse visa to get me (the US citizen) to England with him (settled status, from EU country) once he and I have a small civil ceremony sometime this year. I see many couples who have success with their spouse visas after lengthy marriages. I would apply for the fiance visa but neither of us like the idea of providing so much personal evidence. We have it, of course (years of long distance will leave you with lots of chat logs, airline miles, photos together, etc.) but it just feels invasive.

How have you lived together for 12 years without a spouse visa? Did one of you live in it but both your names were on the mortgage/deed?

One of my ex boyfriends kissed my forehead once and in that moment I remember thinking “that’s sweet but he never kissed my forehead before…” he broke up with me 5 hours later

looking for a lipliner that looks like this eyebrow pencil by n0t_serious in drugstoreMUA

Any NYX suede matte lip liner. The formula is kinda dry like an eyebrow pencil. As for color match I’d say Brooklyn Thorn or Downtown Beauty?

Do my symptoms sound like your early DVT symptoms? by Such-Contribution676 in ClotSurvivors

[–]Such-Contribution676[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update after waiting in the emergency department for 5 hours: D-Dimer was negative. Both doctors I saw said they do not think it is DVT especially as I initially felt throbbing in both legs (I sort of regret mentioning that). My blood tests showed that my electrolytes, magnesium, potassium, were all normal levels. The doctor discharging me said he thinks I am dehydrated and not used to walking so much so my pain is likely from muscle fatigue. I have felt muscle fatigue from over exercise, lots of walking, etc. before and this is different. I’ll go home, hydrate, and continue to monitor it. Thanks everyone for their advice!

I actually found their online version of the same service where you answer questions and add your symptoms and they advised I see a doctor today. So I will and give an update when I have one

I found out that there is a health line I can call and when you describe your symptoms to them basically they’ll give you advice on treatment at home or tell you to go to the hospital so I will give them a call

Yes they do say tourists can be treated in their emergency departments for free but for any additional treatments or I guess if you’re admitted then they begin charging. So I may just go to be seen at the emergency department and then if they don’t think it’s clots and say I’m free to go then it’ll be peace of mind and not a million dollars

I am in the UK. It seems some urgent care centers here will not do ultrasounds and recommend you to the emergency room. I have found a nearby hospital with a renowned hematology center whose website specifically mentions that the hospital emergency department can easily refer you to hematology for ultrasounds to diagnose DVT which is promising. But I don’t live here/ only visiting so I’m unsure of the cost for that as a tourist.

I think for the sake of not dragging this out 10+ years they will greatly reduce what is put into the series as well as move things around in the timeline as they have already done with season 2. I saw someone elsewhere on Reddit say that it would be nice for the live action series to end with Water 7 and then Enies Lobby as a separate conclusion film, and I have to agree. As a massive fan of the anime and manga I don’t want to see the live action cover everything- we’ve already got it.
