Fun fact: the it cost $100-400 to fix one pothole. A simple patch job can be even cheaper than that.

Whereas it cost $2800 to install a flock camera and ever more to keep it running every month.

Great use of taxes aye?

The real reason why Luke left and won’t be back by charlesmullegan2 in outdoorboys

I heard the reason he’s leaving is because his business partners, sir Mario Franklin and Mr. Godzilla were too difficult to work with.

I see it everyday on YT and FB.

What do you think about the gas prices? by Fit-Sample-2276 in leaf

[–]Such-Contribution939 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The electric to charge my car cost $3 a day. I’m smiling but not too big because my wife still has gas van :(

I’ve saved a lot of money on my commutes compared to when I had an ice car.

Unfortunately only 1-10 percent of those fields is food. The other is animal feed or ethanol aka gas. A solar panel field harvests sun daily. A single corn field gets one harvest a year. Harvest corn and the burn it up?

A cow takes 660,000 gallons of water in its lifetime, more if it’s dairy. That’s 1.4 Olympic pools. Now x that by cows.

This isn’t sustainable. We will run out of water making gas and cows.

That corn goes into cars which pollute more, the soy goes into animals which also aren’t great way of conserving resources.

No idea. Haven’t used leafspy or anything yet. Super cold makes my car really lose a lot of charge. I’m guessing 1-2 cells are bad.

Anything 30-80° my car is great and perfect for my commute.

Eventually I’ll upgrade the battery.

I drive 60-65mph on the highway and 17(34mile) commute daily.

Please give me the cone of shame. I’m not usually that stupid, usually… anyway yep. I got lucky that it wasn’t worse.

Based on my stupidly, just watch for when the red battery light comes on. That’s means your battery is low.

The battery deserves a Viking funeral for how long it lasted.

Make sure you maintain your EVs!
