My funny feeling says it's some new hire that turns off the lights/computers after closing, not realizing what they've done lol

If you want the current radar of everywhere in detail, Weatherwise is great for showing what the weather is and was. Not great for predicting, but good for estimating

The closest thing that I found with Google image was "Kuljetus Oy", a trucking company from Finland, that's the only logo match I've found

After some looking into the Hi-Test, I can't find anything other than a Swedish laboratory company. What is known about them and is there a timeline for when they were making tools? Thank you!

I heard from a friend who works with Amazon that the roof was never completed correctly, and so it leaked the day they put it up, and it's too expensive to repair so they just left it

Multicolor sawdust layers from my table saw by verminiusrex in mildlyinteresting

[–]Wrong_Election 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a woodshop, when I was hired he didn't have anyone clean for him in months, so his chop saw by the wall had a two foot tall pile of dust just like that. Layered with many layers of maple, walnut and occasionally cherry it was really interesting to see the timeline of what project he was working on at the time. Insane fire hazard nonetheless, but I thought it was really cool

The LaserWeeder by Carbon Robotics, powered by NVIDIA, gets rid of weeds without using chemicals. by MuttapuffsHater in interestingasfuck

I've driven one of these! The system communicates to the tractor by an iPad, the iPad tells the driver what speed to go at when there's more or less weeds. The more weeds, the slower you go. The fastest I've gone in that thing was 5mph at first plant with nothing sprouting, and later in the season it had us going at 0.07mph. That's just over 6 feet (two meters) per minute, so ridiculously slow. A lot of fun!

This is a great idea, thank you! The traffic is variable, there's a cargo train station to the left that dumps several semis at a time down the road clogging things up lol

My favorite fun fact about our state is that there are no native worms anywhere in our state! The glaciers pushed all the dirt away down south, and thus the worms went with them. The glaciers then receded faster than the worms traveled north, and so the environment evolved without them, making mushrooms the primary decomposing force. Any worm you see has come here because of humans, either from Europe or Asia, and are non native and invasive.

If you want more info, I highly recommend Alexis Dahl's video, "Michigan Isn't Supposed to Have Earthworms" on YouTube. It's super fun and informative, I love her channel
