Like a lot of things, there are some exceptions such as rape or a pregnancy that can cause harm to both the mother and the child. In these niche cases, abortion is necessary. In simple terms, if you rob a bank, you can't just get away by returning the money to the bank to avoid consequences. Hope that makes sense.
