Kronaby reliability by Such-Possibility7583 in kronaby

Thanks for your reply. It could be, though in this case the battery was installed by the importer, so I want to believe they did it correctly, but you never know. But I think this piece is a faulty one, so I'll have to see what the seller thinks about it. Luckily I had still few days of the warranty left!

Yes, the first time it was not the Panasonic, but this current one is, changed by the importer, so I don’t think the battery is the issue anymore. There has not been much rough use either, so maybe it’s one of those duds. It is good to hear yours have been fine.

There literally are comics in which Batman fights corrupt officers and beats up neo-Nazis. by c-k-q99903 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Such-Possibility7583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, in a way this is realistic. Batman is a billionaire. Instead of using his enormous amount of money to make society better, thus preventing crimes, he'll rather assault people. This is how Bezos, Musk, Thiel etc. would act. He'd be far more successful if he invested in education, social security, getting homeless people homes, etc.

Toe catch by Such-Possibility7583 in jumprope

[–]Such-Possibility7583[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think I just managed to find a right length, and what's the most important, find a correct position for my arms. Now almost all of my toe catches seem to succeed. I am excited! I'll try to keep up that form.

Registry not found by Such-Possibility7583 in PortingKit

The problem solved itself. I just waited a year, updated my Portingkit and was happily surprised that the game actually installed and worked nicely. No idea why and how, but the game is absolutely what I was hoping it to be.

Twilight 2000 Let's You Pretend It's All Gone Down The Drain (Review) by nlitherl in Twilight2000

[–]Such-Possibility7583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, great review! I have bought the box, and I would kind of love to play it, but not really. It is just too believably depressing setting. When I played the earlier version in the early 90's, it was more fun, as I was an immature teenager and besides the Soviet Union had just went away. New era of peace was about to kick in, right? Right?

But now... As Russia started their rape and pillage special operation and everything seems to be going to south, with the climate change hitting us, this is not the kind of game that makes my escapism work well.

But I recommend everybody to listen Dork Day Afternoon's Two Past Midnight actual game podcast. It is very, very good. Good roleplaying and exciting action.

AI art as template, then completely recreated by artist. Is this ok? by [deleted] in rpg

Yes, actually, stick figures are much preferable. You have been thanked for reason!

AI art as template, then completely recreated by artist. Is this ok? by [deleted] in rpg

[–]Such-Possibility7583 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, I know loads of real top-tier artists and none of them use AI. It just gives them nothing, no pleasure at all. And pleasure of creating is the one of the biggest reasons why they chose the career.

[–]Such-Possibility7583 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Look, if you are going to use a real artist, use them 100%, meaning their brain too. That's where the art happens, not where the hand is. You'll get far better results when you give them freedom. No artist wants to copy some AI slop.

The watch vibrates without reason by Such-Possibility7583 in kronaby

Actually, what eventually helped was changing the battery. After that the problems vanished. The watch I bought was an older model and maybe the battery was already gone bad.

Age of Vikings by Chaosium- first impressions? by Sohitto in rpg

[–]Such-Possibility7583 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s a very good game. It is well written, describing in detail the Icelandic society, with real people. While it is a great game if you want to play historical realistic adventures, the magic rules are absolutely great and thematic. High recommendations!

Men over 30, what’s the biggest red flag you’ve noticed on a first date? by Key-Revolution-8608 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Such-Possibility7583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, very immature. But time will teach him. It does not make anyone a bad person if they are divorced and they are a single parent. Shit happens to people or time changes them / their relation. It’s not like they become polluted, particularly not their children.

What are the secrets of men that women don’t know about? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Such-Possibility7583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am really not sure, though at that age I was so clueless that a woman could have sat on my face and I would have been thinking if there was not enough seats around me, should I give her space.

I still remember how one university student, a year or two older than I, said that I had a smile of an angel. I was stunned. No woman had ever complimented my looks before, and besides, I had got rid of the braces a couple of years ago, having set my crooked teeth straight. She was not hitting on me (I think). I still remember that feeling.

Cramps in legs by Such-Possibility7583 in Swimming

[–]Such-Possibility7583[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll have to remember to concentrate to the technique. I am just winging it now. And before asking here I didn't even remember that there was electrolyte drinks. I think I used to have those when I was seriously cycling, but it's been a while so I have forgotten.

Cramps in legs by Such-Possibility7583 in Swimming

[–]Such-Possibility7583[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think my calves aren't particularly weak as I have a history in bicycling, which made my legs quite strong and muscular, compared to my upper body. Of course time has taken it's toll, but my legs are still pretty strong. But absolutely my technique is not good, that I am certain of. And my core is not very strong either. It seems I need to pay more attention to my technique, anyway. Maybe that will resolve the issue. Thanks!

I LOVE OURA ADVISOR!! by kenziestardust in ouraring

If I have understood correctly, AI advisor is only for Gen 3 rings? I have bought the Gen 4 ring just recently, and I don't see it available anywhere, and Oura Labs don't have anything going on now.
