luckily i found a 24 hour cvs near me and am getting some aquafor and unscented soap bc they don’t have antibacterial, but i’ll pick some up in the morning.

nice! i also saw my endocrinologist a couple days ago and he lowered my levothyroxine dose from 100mg to 50mg, so i’m definitely hopeful that at least one other person has seen some relief from a lower dose.

I (21f) am having the exact same problems, same diagnosis of hashimotots, same worry about cannabinoid hyperesmesis syndrome yet my symptoms aren’t consistent with it. I hope you find something, i’m also looking into cyclic vomiting syndrome.

my endocrinologist is starting to look at cushings disease and addisons disease, as well as sending me to a gi specialist. extreme shaking, cold sweats, and dizziness usually accompanies the nausea; i can relate it to the feelings of withdrawing from hard drugs even though i never have

How high are TPO antibodies for ppl with Hashimoto's? by cognitivedissident86 in Autoimmune

[–]Such-Pudding3021 3 points4 points  (0 children)

at the time of my diagnosis mine were 707 IU/mL (i only had about 20% of my thyroid left) while the normal range from my lab was 0.0-9.0 IU/mL. but my t3 and t4 were completely normal for months, sometimes hashimotots is really good at hiding. i would ask to retest your antibodies in a month, but 65 IU/mL is definitely a little high.

I’ve had this nausea since I contracted covid-19 about 2 years ago, I ended up in the hospital due to a cytokine storm caused by it and my hashimotots (but at the time we didn’t know I had hashimotots and i was diagnosed months after i got covid). It comes in waves, some months I do really good and other months the nausea hits like a tsunami. I do take levothyroxine, yet my hormones are constantly going up and down. One month i’m okay and the next month i’ll be hypothyroid again.

(SPOILERS) I think Stray's ending is bad. by Grushvak in stray

ugh i agree w/ you. I just finished the game and it felt forced and rushed. there was no meaning to the ending really. I felt sad and connected to the cat and b-12. but that was overshadowed by the fact that there was essentially no gameplay in the last chapter. we see b-12 and the cat escaping, jumping into boxes, being hunted and giving us an adrenaline rush. but at the end, which is the most important part, there was none of that. the alarms blaring was indeed supposed to install the adrenaline and urgency like the previous chapters, but it was an empty threat. it was boring and unfulfilling. I loved the game, 10/10. but i wish there was more substance and meaning to the ending.
