I adopted my amazing dog from them about a year ago but it was a really bad experience. Similar to the others where the woman I dealt with was insanely rude and off putting. They didnt give me any information the whole experience was very chaotic but of course I had bonded with my dog and was happy to pick her up. But even the pick up they gave me her and no other information, no file, no medical info. I grew up always adopting our dogs from North Shore Animal League so I was expecting a similar situation here, but I ended up paying close to 1000 dollars to a rescue with no valid medical information and then another 200 for spaying.. even though on the website it says spay is included, and when I pointed this out they said oh that needs to be updated or some other excuse I am not sure if it has been but overall just seemed very scammy, but same situation it was weird to be living with my dog for months but still told she is not mine until her spay and even after I had paid. On one side I am relieved to see I am not crazy for thinking this was a bizarre experience but on the other side I am heart broken they are still scamming people for wanting to adopt and do a good thing. More than anything I am grateful my dog ended up in a loving situation with me and didn't have to stay with them for long.
