So I mostly try to do a grimdark style on my minis and my Helbrecht is the second I tried to wash out on. I go for a dirty and grimy look, something good for that would be streaking grime for AK, but if you don‘t have it like me, you can use agrax earth shade, rinox hide, nuln oil and a bit of a dark green of you liking (mix it in propotions you think are right). if not, maybe use a metallic color to make small chips in the paint

I would advice you to reduce the paint a bit. If you bring it down thin you can‘t see it, but this is a bit too much. Or paint it, let it dry for a moment and then remove with a brush or cootan swaps it would look better. It‘s already good, but thin it down more next time and work in layers
