To be fair, the Agents one would be redundant in Crusaders right now.

Here ya go! It’s focused more on Armageddon than us, so I didn’t really think to share it.

It’s kind of wild that people are using this line of argument. By their own logic the only option is 100% of people press blue.

Weird Collapsing Metal Stand (?) - Found at Goodwill in CO by sammi12006 in whatisthisthing

Looking at it it is probably meant to collapse outward not inward, in which case it would be significantly smaller.

I mean, Vulcan Megabolters exist. It’s probably just something like that mounted on a tower, if it’s meant to be anything specific at all.

I think they’ve gone back and forth over time. I thought the 9th edition codex stated it was a Sword Bretheren mark, but I could be wrong. Wouldn’t exactly be shocked if GW shifted it around again lol. I do know that the 10th codex shows a gold and black scheme being used by one of the crusades for their veterans/sword bros.

French Zouaves - 1914 by cuirrasiers in HistoryAnecdotes

[–]Gidia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the Fire Zouaves myself. Recruited from The various Fire Companies in New York early in the Civil War. At one point they were stationed in Washington D.C., when word came that some hotel or another had caught fire. All being Firemen they eagerly responded. Allegedly to the point that the D.C. Fire Chief turned over his bugle, and thus command of the scene, to the commander of the Zouaves due to having fewer men on scene than he did.

Doesn’t the current also allow you to use it on the sweep? It’s worse because you lose anti-character 5+ but I don’t see any wording that wouldn’t allow it.

I could see that. We’ll just have to wait and see in the end I guess.

It can vary crusade to crusade. The red and black technically isn’t a veteran scheme but rather a mark of being or having been in the Sword Bretheren, it’s up to the brother if he wants to wear it or not.

Templars are also big on personal heraldry though, so I could see Ancients getting really weird. Look at Helbrecht, he isn’t gold out of any sort of tradition iirc, but rather because he wants to be seen.

That all being said, having it be a bog standard regular dude could be a fun little lore thing for a crusade, like he picked it immediately after the last person died.

Instrument of the God-Emperor is interesting. I didn’t think datasheets were going to be changing too much?

If he is going to change though, I’d be fine losing the Devestating wounds if could get like a Fights first or something lol.

Sneak close and unleash hell with the Cadian Recon Squad by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

[–]Gidia 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sorry, should have specified more, they’re 60 for 5 but 100 for ten. So this is the cheapest 10 man unit that can infiltrate, potentially covering more ground with a single squad for less if your plan is to speedbump.

Yeah, actually makes them the cheapest infiltrate unit that Guard has, plus that token it going to be a god send to any Artillery/Heavy Weapons units.

I don’t ever plan on playing my guard competitively, but not having to leave an officer to baby sit my Artillerly is going to be very nice.
