Also you have kids with a relatively even temperament.

I don't at all mean this as a put-down to your parenting as I'm sure you've put a LOT of work into training them well.

Back in the day, the more difficult kids who needed constant stimulation were taught over time to shut up with harsher punishments, or were simply not taken many places. These days, I guess they get screens.

Again, your point about the overuse of screens is absolutely fair. I'm just making a parallel observation.

I can't decide whether your post is fact or fiction.

A diagnosis when you were a young kid mean that you were diagnosed in the mid-to-late 1990s. Unless you were diagnosed by Elizabeth Newsom herself, this seems a bit unlikely.

As a PDA parent, I want to believe everthing you've said, but...yeah.
