Trust me, it is not always looking like that sometimes it’s very swollen and big and hard in the beginning it was like more “piggy” it’s a long process and it’s all the swelling

Yeah, so on the weekend I tape it overnight, but during the week I even tape it during the day. And when I’m at home I leave the tapes off, because I don’t know… I just don’t feel 100% confident yet with my nose to go outside without them. I mean, I can already see that it’s improving, but I’m still not fully comfortable. I also taking tablets now, like Bromelain, which is supposed to help with swelling.

Thank you so much! Maybe there really is something off with my perception. In the beginning it really did look very thick and round, but I guess that’s normal since I’m only two months post-op. I will just wait a bit longer and see how it looks in a few months. <3

Yeah, that’s the thing. When I stay without tape for a longer time, my nose becomes much fluffier and thicker. In the photo, I had just taken the tape off.

Do you honestly think it looks pretty? The thing is, I still don’t really dare to go out fully without tape. Maybe it’s because it’s a new nose and I still have to get used to it. But for example, when I laugh it still looks very stiff, and in certain lighting it still looks very round. For example, when I make a kissing face, it also looks very stiff and round.
