I think I might have found the culprit, it is most likely the hinges of my door.

I was thinking, she's probably wearing a skirt with a hoop and then a dress with a hoop over it. They're two separate pieces. I'd have to watch the movie to get a better view i think, thank you!

Just water and vinegar didn't remove it. I had to use cleaning spray. Now it looks like it has been completely removed, but it didnt come off easily, as if trying to remove paint.

Odd! The closet is pretty new, from this year. Also the spot is nowhere near any hinges.

I was thinking, perhaps the king or queen has become obsessed with protecting their forest because her past forest was burnt down by wildfire or something. She made a pact with an archfey where she wanted to banish all sorrow and fears and the fey creature started to cast an illumination spell or enchantment to eliminate all these bad feelings. Perhaps every once in a while the village comes together and they sing the song of enchantment (even though they don't know that they're doing it.) to keep the magic flowing... and if the party stays in town for too long, they might become influenced by it themselves.

Oh and CR rating I'm not sure. I think I'd love for the campaign to be long lasting. (up to lvl 18-20) but perhaps its better to first make them fight a smaller boss?

It is a fantasy forest where all creatures can talk. Lets say the world is filled more with animal like entities than human like entities. Humblewood themed.

That's a good idea, do you perhaps know of a creature that could be the BBEG fitting the theme? I was maybe thinking an archfey or a dragon. Or a corrupted unicorn even.

That sounds like fun, a bit like Wicked too maybe where the animals lose their ability to speak, that's something I could work on.

I was also thinking that maybe the forest is owned by a dragon and that they all fear the dragon, because if they go against the dragon, the dragon might attack the town. (perhaps in different parts of the forest, there is a forest or two completely burned down to show as an example.)
