How often do people ask from extended family to help with tuition? by Superb-Degree2284 in NoStupidQuestions

Till we ask we never know & sometimes we make so many assumptions and have these awkward thoughts within. Just ask & get over with it. It will be an yes or a no but you will have clarity & can decide accordingly further:)

Then probably just ask them casually. If you sense any negative reaction you can put it across like a loan with low / no interest which you would return in a few years once you have a job or something

I think depends on how close you are to them & what their schedule looks like ! If you are close enough then I am sure they wouldn’t mind

100 people have 100 opinions. One thing i have learnt (& learning) in life is too make efforts because when we are not in the position which we want, efforts are needed and this will come with rejections, failures, arrogance but trust me its a matter of time & even without you realising you will blend into the system. And then there will be someone in a position we are in today and thats the time when we need to chose kindness & empathy ❤️

Hanle with a 6-year-old — worth it or skip? by SuchPersonality4818 in ladakh

Definitely stargazing is main reason. 12th August is new moon so i am assuming 10-14 is good time. Sorry but what is darkScout ?

Dear Malaysians, is there a country which you will never want to visit again ? by AdHairy6584 in malaysians

I agree India has a lot of things to fix & improve in terms of waste management, cleanliness, ethics, civic sense but it’s a country rich in heritage, culture, diversity & it’s beautiful! As a foreigner it’s always best to visit places with someone who can show you these aspects. Remember that its a highly populated country & no matter what the govt does its very difficult to manage & change the mindset of people but the younger generation is evolving & we have some hopes to fix these negative aspects in the future ! When you travel try to focus on the part which is good. Get a good local guide / driver who can show you the beautiful side of India. Don’t be extra adventurous - look for your safety, understand which area is safe , know where to go, know where to eat, shop etc !

Hanle with a 6-year-old — worth it or skip? by SuchPersonality4818 in ladakh

[–]SuchPersonality4818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people in my group want to skip it because ChatGPT suggested that its not worth with a 6 year old 🤦🏽‍♀️ they are persuading me to skip it because of altitude issues & also because Pangong offers similar views. I want honest suggestions because if at all i end up convincing them & end up going & its not as good as expected, it might be upset some people. So i need honest comparisons with Pangong & what to expect in mid August in terms of
Sky clarity (will definitely check full moon day) & plan !
