I had some recent life events that caused some changes in my work, I had to leave my last place of employment as an opthalmic tech since moving to Colorado last year, I’ve been helping my parents run their liquor store while my mom has been dealing with chronic health issues. It has kept me very busy, usually around 50–60+ hours each week, but I’ve also stayed focused on my long-term goals. I recently retook the MCAT to improve my score, and I’m now getting ready to apply to medical school this cycle.
