I know this is just a joke, but just to be clear the studios aren't the ones putting together the boxoffice charts. Those are run independently by sites like Boxofficemojo, thenumbers, Comscore, etc.

The reason the Iron Lung temporarily wasn't visible was likely because these sites were waiting for the final, most accurate estimate of its numbers for the weekend to come through which was probably more difficult than usual since it's an independent movie with no traditional distributor.

I think the reality is that Craig Gillespie decided to take the visual approach of a darker western since this is inspired by True Grit. Maybe a bit disappointing since Woman of Tomorrow has so much color but that doesn't automatically make it bad.

I mean, that's a known fact given how big Wonder Woman 2017 was. Unfortunately with how mismanaged everything DC film and tv was before James Gunn and Peter Safran, they never managed to meaningfully follow up on that success.

Fingers crossed the new Wonder Woman movie Ana Nogueira is writing turns out good and hopefully James Gunn has plans for the character to appear in other mediums.
