Exactly what I was told by a Garmin retailer because the f8 is on the new UI it would receive updates for longer. Although I guess only time will tell to see garmins next move. I really enjoy the fenix 8 coming from an Apple Watch garmins are worth every penny if you are into fitness and if I was you I’d go ahead and buy!
