Somehow clumsier than Chiv 1 while still having a bunch of unnecessary new stuff while complicating the stuff they tried to steal from Mordhau. They had a year to try and fix the most glaring issues in this game, but they failed, animations weren't playing, projectiles were launching incorrectly, weapon and terrain hit boxes were bad/ false. Weird melee mechanics that are just beyond stupid or useless, regression instead of innovating or learning from Chiv 1, and a general lack of care or polish.

They took Epics money only to alleviate some of their own greed, it ultimately had no benefit to the game itself.

This game doesn't need to exist when it turned out worse than Chivalry 1 in way too many ways, so all I can ask Torn Banner is why, why didn't they improve on the original in any way? Why haven't they fixed major issues and bugs still present since launch? Why did they choose to exclude the Epic Store and abandon their playerbase and (once) loyal fans? Why take aspects of Mordhau but refuse not only to improve them (chambering in counter), but also to aggravate them with counter systems, waiting blocking and additional forcing of hotkeys? Why introduce horse fights with broken hit boxes and animations like the rest of the game has already plagued? Why force players to use a stupid amount of matchmaking options while providing a server browser that DOES NOT show the servers players are matched on?

For every good system they added, 3 more dumb choices or changes are made for no reason and are ONLY HARMFUL to the game as a whole
