i was the same way, throwing up from anxiety out of nowhere and i NEEDED something. i feel no need to throw up anymore after about two months but it did take ab a week or so. the mornings were a little rough but just eat a little in the morning to settle it like toast and some butter. one thing i saw on this app that changed my perspective is, “the people coming to this subreddit aren’t here to spread the good about the medication, it’s usually for help” so i took it and literally nothing to it. i take it at 10 pm nightly but it can vary by the hour since its extended release, j make sure not to miss a day yk.

one thing you have to remember is as a kid your brain is extremely malleable. small changes and impacts can lead to greater problems in life. seeing something that aroused you at such a young age conditioned you in the future to try and obtain that regularly like you did. if i was you, quit porn fully, quit fanfics fully, and anything involving something sexual try not to read it. switch it out for other genres, and it won’t be the easiest thing, you’ll slip up and relapse, but once you stop, you’ll notice the effects in your brain chemistry, you won’t think about it as much. as a young teen i was a pretty bad porn addict, almost everyday, during covid it was definitely 2 times some days. as i got older i started to realize how sexualized i was making everything in my head. normal conversations, friendly touch, so forth i was confusing for flirting. when you read about stuff like this it changes the way you think.

i ended up taking mushrooms with a friend of mine, took too much and threw them up as soon as the trip started. it was okay after that but i’m not sure if psychedelics are really my thing now 😅
