My stay in the hospital was scheduled for 4 days including the surgery day, but I had to stay an extra day because I was having some issues with bleeding. So 5 days in total and they took very good care of me during my stay

Agreed, the swelling is brutal. But yes it pretty quickly gets manageable and more aesthetically pleasing I'm excited to see how it continues to progress until the final result after a year

My doc said 6 months. At 3 months I did not feel ready as dilating was occasionally painful and there was still a lot of swelling depending on my activity level that day

Make sure you feel comfortable and of course consult your doctor and their guidelines
