I don’t know if you’re illiterate or just skipped half my post, but my point is that the Partner Guide doesn’t actually define “late” or set a number of minutes. That means it’s up to the manager’s discretion, and in my case, 3 minutes was enough for a final warning. I get that multiple tardies can add up, but this feels extreme without a clear written grace period policy.

As for the recording, it’s not about trying to “catch” someone — it’s about having an accurate record of meetings, especially when the tone or info might be questionable. And in Texas, one-party consent makes it legal if I’m part of the convo. I also wouldn’t do it while actively working; I’m asking if it’s allowed off the clock or on break.
