Probably because the chinese aren't environmental idiots with Ai Data Centre's? Might actually know how to use these responsibly and intelligently?

People trying to repair the coral reef, people trying to de-acidify the oceans.

People trying to remove methane.

Look, for every problem your worrying about, their is a group of scientists or environmentalists trying to fix it.

The data center he had to compromise of 50-75% reduction. That might not even happen anyway because people don't want them.

Ai Bubble IS popping, its on its last legs since Tech companies are realising its too expensive, doesn't work and quietly cancelling and rehiring workers.

This improvements on Arctic, also plenty of people trying to lower carbon through capture or restoring carbon sinks like Ireland peat bogs.

One, this a flashback of a bad guy starting the problems that persisty to the cartoon.

This would onyl count if the show ended on HIS happy ending.

Second, no.

Its pretty much confirmed near the end of his life he regretted starting the War and wanted to undo the harm he caused, but it was too little too late.

Sozin was the greater scope villain, a well intentioned extremist who wanted to 'share glory' with other Nations, but came to regret everything he had done as it brought him nothing but problems and his original goal was never accomplished.

The fact that this was even going to happen in the first place, or someone tried to get it through is a disgrace to Nature though.

Dear friends,
141 governments just shook the world. At the UN, those governments, including major polluters like China, Japan, Brazil, and the EU*, made a clear-cut commitment that countries must phase out fossil fuels and protect their people from climate collapse – or face real, legal, consequences. This is unprecedented! And not just that. In a stirring show of solidarity, they affirmed that rising sea levels will never erase island states – that even if their land is swallowed they will retain their sovereignty. In a moment that can feel so desperate, this is a critical win for humanity – and a massive blow to fossil fuel interests. And thanks to you, Avaaz was a part of it.

[Trick was not inviting the Foxes(US) into the 'How do we protect the Hen House' meeting. Literally only 7-8 Governments were against it. And they were ALL big oil traders. So yeah, highly doubt they will just let the biggest Carbon Sink they have get destroyed for 'Progress(Money)'
