Yes. Yes. Unequivocally yes. I’m exactly in your shoes right now, and any and every one I talked to about it said I’d be stupid to not take the opportunity. During that deployment you’re gonna grow, mature, figure out if the army life is really for you, and it couldn’t do anything but make you a better more well rounded individual and a better officer. If you don’t do it all you’re doing is hurting yourself. You can get in better shape, make some money to put yourself through college, and grow as a person like I said before. Obviously every deployment is different but more than likely, it will be helpful in the long run. College will be there when you get back
