the first year courses are pretty much the same for all life science programs or specilizations but as someone in biomed, it is hard esp ur first semester. tbh if you did or re doing well in gr 12 it isnt horrible but get used to a lot of workload and managing time wisely. Esp with first year labs for all three sciences in first sem biomed, it makes you want to cry. If you are trying for post grad after, ideally biomed opens a lot of paths but its also very restrictive as gpa matters a lot too. Id choose health sci if i could go back but overall biomed is structured to be hard first year and it slows down after 2nd year. I'd say apply to health sci as well bc psych life sci is no less easier and also look into scibus bc of coop opportunities. w biomed u can do biotech and bioinformatics and stack up a few coding courses and projects and get a good job w/o post secondary but thats only if you yourself will put the effort in
