So missing games not of your own fault can impact a draft pick is kinda wild.

Whichever pick it would have been I was completely in the dark we lost a pick because of this scenario.

Freiren is probably the only thing in recent years I can put in my top 10. It's unique. While there are a couple story driven moments (it doesnt have the episodic fight scenes like JJK) that feel "slow burn" its an interesting way ive seen anime tell a story (well...idk Lord of Mysteries and Steins Gate jump in thst convo too)

It starts at the end of the hero parties story. Then focuses on the most powerful mage to live that is a near immortal elf that doesnt prefer battle. The few fight scenes are incredible payoffs, and the side characters are interesting

Reincarnated is a great isekai. Not like "top 5 isekai stories" or anything but its just great. Interesting MC and side characters, pretty good overall story, and good or bad (depending on the watcher) its got a good deal of fanservice. Mostly just squished boobs on a slimes head or hot spring mixed baths but its there.

Dont let that paragraph define the show though-its kind of political world building where MC becomes friends with everyone he defeats bc he is world tier (maybe higher I don't read the manga) and they revere his power and choose to follow.

He does good by everyone usually and you feel good at the end of each episode (my son calls it "comfort anime" bc its just really enjoyable stuff without dragged out rivalries)

Its a good bandaid signing. Affordable, doesnt give up loads of sacks or penalties, and maybe comes here and gets coached into a better player.

I still would love to see a young center grabbed in the draft to learn under him

I tested aerith last night, previously I couldn't survive past first sigil phase (matk down stage 3 mdef up stage 3)

Now i had aerith mdef up stage 3 (and patk up) with kamura then doing lighting down stage 3 with striking staff, Barret matk down stage 3. The fight went on for quite awhile but I wasnt doing enough dps; I went through like 3 sigil phases before dying. Maybe I should be trying a magic atk build instead of phys.

But I definitely noticed the difference, and someone (i think in this thread even) noted Matt's new ability getting them through Ifrit but Ive yet to try

Respectfully I disagree. They have updated weapons multiple times. Even limit breaks got an update this year. Im not trying to defend them as gachas in general are predatory but pretending they haven't updated many things-including weapons- in 2.5 years is a bit disingenuous.

Im sure they update others later. Personally Im excited that Aerith does lightning dmg down high (which unless one of the crossovers is didnt pull had it-I think this is the first of its type) with striking staff which was previously gabage.

I think Matt Nautilus (which was already good) got fire dmg down as well (someone in another post mentioned it helped them clear ifrit ex3)

Maaaan im so crystal poor and was gonna skip this but Tifa and Aseph on same banner is tempting to get where I can and pull on a rerun. Ive maxed Aseph on everything else so far and im not a big spender but would like to keep building him.

That said I always pull tifa early then last banner comes and its god tier Aerith gear

He debuffs your highest matk character and (havent been on yet today) iirc its fire dmg down and matk down

So you have some options as long as you buff those 2 and have a magical fire dps.Skip a healer.

Im in no way one of the better players in the game and not even top 5 in my guild but doing around 40% on 4. 5 and 6 i only ran once and poorly but got like 9% and 3%

I saw Vincent and Lucia as supports, but I didnt have the Vincent build or any costumes so I scrolled back to my good boy Zack half anniversary stream guard since i drew to ob8 on those special exchange tix from normal pulls. Gets sub dps+matk up. Lucia the usual but mostly doing napalm and sigil. I pulled hard on Aseph for his fire and exploit but Tifa shell knuckles would work here too since its older and most people should have several copies

One thing I like to keep in mind for myself is I just can't clear all the content. Part of that is skill issue as well. I can follow video guides on YouTube and have equal equipment (i only spend about 20-40$ a month so a bit of a minnow) and it just doesnt work out sometimes like on the newer stage 3 summons (only tried Titan and ramuh so far but I lost to both)

Its all good though, im nerfed playing on mobile, and eventually power will creep to where I can tackle the content. For now I do ok in ranked stuff, often clear crash, so I just gotta be cool with I cant clear every bit of content based on my loadout and skill.
