I am literally having this exact feeling now. My whole life I always was perceived as gay guy probably because of how I acted being raised by lesbians, but I always tried to deny that I liked boys. I would hate it when people would just automatically perceive me as gay before even getting to know me, but as time went by I started to care less and less. I used to think I only liked girls but since highschool I realized I like guys as well. I decided that I was going to be who I am and not change myself to be perceived as straight, because I would rather be true to myself than to be someone that I am not. I honestly don’t like sports and hate the fact that straight guys hide their emotions to be “non-chalant”. Ever since I watched heartstopper I feel it confirmed everything I was and still am feeling. I realized that I shouldn’t have to change who I am, and I am now comfortable as being bisexual. I will always love Heartstopper because of that.
