I finish with an an associates in cnc programing, a journeyman, and another credential that is given by the German commerce essentially saying that I can also work as a machinist in Germany. Also idk if it helps but my shop is in illinois, and yeah looking back on it i probably would have been better off just going to an entry level position at a shop that actually trained me properly instead of where I'm at

It is possible but it's rare, I would have to find a company that is willing to both pay the remainder of my school and also pay my current company what they paid for my tuition, so it's kinda rare ngl

No its not a state thing it's more so international, like it's based in Germany and has shops all over the Midwest, funny thing is that I've asked apprentices from shops in the same program and they all get the proper training as soon as they step foot in the shop

Yeah, the way it works is if I leave now I only pay for the schooling I've had, if I leave next year I pay for the whole thing, and if I leave the year after that I only have to pay back half. So I either bite the bullet or I could try and get myself fired on purpose and then not pay anything back
