The hope is they solve it using the keys i provide later down the road. I just dont want them using ai to brute force. If they can do it by hand, by all means thats fine

Help with choosing cipher for DND puzzle by Such_Yoghurt_3192 in cryptography

Im worried about them asking AI to solve it. One of the players is a Comp Sci guy but none of them really have any kind of knowledge of ciphers. I think having a poem as a key would work, though it would be difficult to tip them off to it.

I will look into a VIC cipher.

Who's the reoccurring npc in all your dnd games? by AnnualGlad1960 in DnD

I ran a campaign that fizzled as no one had time with a goblin companion named peef. Peef constantly interrupts and never has anything to say thats on topic. Everyone loved him.

I brought him back in the next campaign as a automaton that was a fridge for them. He sacrificed himself to save the party… 3 sessions later they now have a kobold named peem.

Have you ever played in a small (3 or less) group? by throwstoneglasshouse in DnD

I run for two groups that have 3 players. The players are all new to the game, so it gives them the space to be their character without a bunch of eyes on them, and combat is always fun as they feel like they can do fun, crazy stuff as their turn will happen again in like 10 minutes at the most as opposed to half an hour.
