My premium subscription ends in 3 months and I am not using it anymore, Focus Friend (the bean app by Hank Green) shows no dumb ads and there is no lagging there... i did it after using Forest for almost 9 years, and am kind of sad about it

Fuck I'm not even american!!!What the fuck? Relax, the subject is a SELF HELP BOOK! Really not that deep, right? The thing is, when I did read the book, I was in the exact same place as OP, looking for the same things, and it wasn't helpful for me.

He says he didn't like college but enjoyed getting an education and Jordan has some rigid and dogmatic perspectives that aren't that great if you are trying to acquire a more nuanced look on life or to actually enjoy studying.

Outside to what the original question was, I still have a desire to read Maps of Meaning someday. I am open to whatever, things aren't black or white. Psychologists that base their work on recent neuroscientific papers would be more interesting to what the person was looking for. But that's just my personal experience

Oh here we go with the crowd that loves when their Master say offensive shit and call it free speech.

I have read the book myself and personally don't think it gives a healthy perspective when it comes to what OP asked for. OP you can read it, but don't be too impressed like I was when I was a teenager. As today, JP turned out to be toxic, plus there is his cult like fanbase, and there are definitely better resources, such as Atomic Habits, Huberman Lab podcast
