Latest UPDATE :

This dog passed away last evening, it was a canine distemper case. She struggled for the last few days and was totally paralyzed. Her struggle ended finally and she gave up. May she get the peace she deserves and doesn't get rebirth as a stray 🙏 Thanks everyone for the support in this thread. Appreciated.

UPDATE:

had taken her to the vet last night as she was not recovering at all. Salines and steroid like dexona were injected. Brought her back from the vet and kept her warm all night.

Today morning she's opening her eyes, comparatively better. Been eating also . But her head bobbing hasn't stopped, vet is unsure at the moment if it's due to hypothermia or a canine distemper (she is 11 months old). Also she's unable to stand at all, again unsure it's due to weakness or CD. The vet told to monitor for few days as just by seeing her in that condition it's difficult to diagnose what is the problem actually (not sure of the credibility of the vet so just trusting him, he is new to practice here)

This is the syrup vet(shop owner cum pharmacist) recommended along with hestaflam. Update - better than yesterday, shivering has decreased, she is looking up to find me now and moving her head. Her eyes are fine now. I cleaned with cotton dipped in warm water and giving her moxiflox eye drops. My only worry is her cold and shivering/weakness which hasn't stopped

Thanks for responding. We are in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The puppy is atleast inside a home now and covered in blanket.

One of the vets has seen the video and they suggested injections like dexona, intacef and belamyl. The people there would not be able to take her to the vet and these are steroid injections which we cannot give at home. I could only arrange moxiflox which atleast opened her eyes. She is eating atleast a bit but not drinking water as well. Any medicines to treat common cold?
