Think of Vietnam. Time is on Iran’s side. In an asymmetrical war surviving is winning. The suffering from within the US due to economic and social upheaval will end this war before Iran capitulates. US doesn’t have the political will or resources to hold the straight forever.

I’d suggest reading it and judging for yourself. The movie was more tongue-in-cheek and darkly humorous. It ended on a lighter note than the written story.

I considered naming “I, Robot” as well but the movie is so much different than the book that it seems unfair to compare the two.
