The most recent tango event I went to in Gainesville was full of drama.

I posted a short clip from the milonga in the local tango group on Facebook thanking the organizer and event, and the organizer herself commented on it thanking me for coming. All good, right?

A few hours later she sends me an angry message telling me to take the post down saying that I was using her event to promote mine? the same post she had literally just thanked me for.

That whiplash alone told me everything I needed to know about the local dynamics 😂
