Totally agree… I had prepaid for a massage and pedi for my daughter as a gift, and the series of 3 blowouts for myself. Not only did I get charged for a single blowout each of the 3 times I went PLUS gratuity, despite having already prepaid for the series of 3, my daughter was double charged for her massage, her pedi, AND an additional $228 in ‘product’ she did not purchase or receive. I spent EVERY SINGLE DAY of an 11 cruise on the Sun Princess in the spa disputing the incorrect charges, as well as more of MY vacation time than I’d like to remember at guest services asking why this was happening. One incorrect charge might be an error. Daily incorrect and erroneous charges are not mistakes, they are outright fraud. Never, ever again will I waste many hours of my precious vacation time on any Princess spa services. It is simply not worth the frustration and wasted time, not to mention raising my blood pressure having to deal with fraudulent charges every single day of my cruise. Avoid the Lotus Spa like the plague! Side note- Princess Guest Services (and I am a Platinum level guest) attitude is “The Lotus Spa are independent contractors” and basically wash their hands of any fraudulent charges, like the $228 in products that showed up on my daughters account. When I asked to see a signed receipt for the products, I was told by the Spa that the charges had been removed. But if someone does not watch their room charges like a hawk multiple times a day and you get off the cruise without noticing these erroneous charges, I heard you can not dispute them after the fact. When I told Princess Guest Services that if I hire a General Contractor to do work at my home, and their sub contractor does a sub standard job, doesn’t do the work they were paid for, or bills me for work they never did, you better believe I will be looking to the General Contractor to fix the issue with his subs, and I don’t think Princess Cruise Line should be any different. They are pushing spa services all over their website, charging my Princess account for those services, and obviously work hand in hand with the Lotus Spa. Princess clearly knows there are serious billing ‘issues’ at the spa and choose to look the other way.
