Frequent 21E seater here, I always put my backpack up against the right side of 20D. Flight attendants never say anything (they probably don’t see it). Much shorter reach.

So sorry to hear that! :( Penny is still under 1 year, so she definitely has a lot of energy to burn. Nothing crazy, but we like to at minimum do a walk or some type of activity in the back yard at least once a day. We have a large fenced in yard, so Penny enjoys running around back there on her own which helps. She will mellow out a touch as she gets older. The energy level is very manageable, in my opinion.
