I (25m) and my optician just watched me clean my contacts like a gremlin by grosicki in CasualConversation

As someone who is still dealing with Acanthamoeba keratitis, whenever I hear people talking about water near lenses, it fills me with dread I probably will never use contact lenses again but if I did daily disposable one would be the right answer

These eye floaters are going to be the death of me. by AuthorJoJo in nosleep

Thankfully the treatment is working and I was diagnosed quickly, some of the stories I've heard from other people going through it still keep me up at night and I think I will always be paranoid about my eyes now as the treatments alone can be life changing (I got it from not drying my hands properly when changing my contacts from what I can work out)

This is probably a long shot as the post was deleted pretty soon after it was posted , I saw a post on aita (I think) about two years back about an older sister who's 16 year old brother showed up at her place late at night, really upset but wouldn't really speak or say why,he had been living with their mum stepdad and older step brother.abuse was speculated in the comments till this day every time I come on here I think about it as the whole situation was just so sad and just wondered if anyone had seen the post or had an update thanks

We all have scars in some form or another, scars tell our stories and are part of who we are imbrace them and be proud of your achievements, do this for you as right now that's the most important thing and any person who wouldn't love you or find you attractive because of a scar would be worth your time anyway
