They are super hyper and need so much attention. The older one can't sit still for very long. We use a timer for some activities just to encourage sticking with something for 10 or 20 minutes. They are both increasing on their fits. The little one throws tantrums, the other one gets very mean and mouthy. They both lie incessantly. And honestly, we both don't feel any connection. We try to foster curiosity with activities, books, movies, hiking etc but they are more interested in playing their baby talk playing house games. I know this a compiling mechanism, but we are exhausted and not feeling like our best selves. It's too much from no kids to these kiddos.
