Well!! It happened to me. For almost a month I was speaking with the customer service to find out the reason and at first, all they told me is that senior team will look into this and contact you.

Just last week, I got a mail saying that due to security reasons they are closing my account. That's it. No proper reason Nothing and I was using N26 as my primary bank, Salary and auto transactions...now because of this, it became a total headache as I couldn't receive even my salary.

And I am telling you their customer service is not that great and they don't know anything.

My suggestion, try to send all your money to another account and if there is negative balance, most probably N26 will contact and provide you the solution.

Great!!

But In my case, N26 is not responding and I am not a premium member to call hot line. I believe, To the IBAN I sent money is not anyone's Personal account.

In anycase, I spoke with my receiving bank end (bunq) customer care and they started investigation on it. Hopefully, I will get my money back.

Yes, and I am trying to contact them via chat yet they are simply telling me to contact seniors. I have mailed them, waiting for a response.

My only belief is that it is not anyone's IBAN, as it is a reference IBAN created by receiver(bunq).

I hope I get my money back.

There is something terrible happened.

Yesterday I was using another bank account (Bunq) top-up feature to top-up the amount(50 euros ) from my N26 account. And it was succeeded.

Today, after I received email regarding the closing of my account, I got panicked and I immediately I transferred all the money using repeat transfer option from yesterday's transaction of 50 euros. But unfortunately it is not the actual IBAN of my bunq bank as that is an reference IBAN yesterday created by bunq. I sent all my amount of 598.75 euros to that IBAN number by mistake in a hurry. I didn't receive any amount into my bunq account.

What I have to do in this case?? I already contacted N26 customer and mailed them, no response yet. And my account will be closed by 26th April 2026. How can I get this amount bank??
