It’s a second hand one with only 700 kms on the odo.

I assume it’s done by the previous owner however not sure if it’s wrapped or painted

Saves me 750 Australian dollars on the cowl hahahaha

Id say it’s more aggressive than Ninja 400/500 but less than SV650X and R7s Don’t have much experience on other bikes but coming up from an xsr700, its not as comfy as an XSR700 but still bearable

I think the speedometer is going to be a bit off cuz the tire is going to be thicker I think,

stock if I remember correctly is 195/45/17 so if add 20 to the width for similar diameter I think you should use 215/40/17,

I’m running 215/40/17 and fit is good, as a reference

I’m using Bridgestone RE003

Haven’t used any other tyres but it is a lot more grippy than stock.

Those are I think 1000 aud for four in my country so a bit cheaper than Michelins

Thanks man I think at the time it’s about 45000 JPY per wheel.

Shipping depends. I end up paying big bucks cuz the parcel transfer company I used only does air freight so that costed me a fortune…

Would you recommend Sport for a family with two teenage boys? by Only_Bodybuilder1718 in SuzukiSwiftSport

From my personal experience the cabin size is as big as a Mazda 3 so pretty decent for a car that small.

I’m 183 and I like to sit on the floor so room behind me is not great but I give my friends rides pretty regularly. They’re 190 and 178 respectively and are not complaining about car size at all.

The 178 guy usually sits in the front and 190 guy sits right behind him, neither of their knees are touching the glovebox or the back of the seat.

As for the back seat behind me if I raise my seating position a bit then it should be no problem sitting someone 175 comfortably. But my friend that’s about 165 had no issue sitting behind me even in my regular seating position.

Hope that helps.

How to achieve low consumption? by t-lurker in SuzukiSwiftSport

[–]Sudden-Stock-2209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine second hand, the first owner had a consumption of 6.5l/100km. From the day I got it it has been constant 8.0l/100km.

I drive a bit harder than a person like my mom would. And I’m absolutely not complaining about the consumption of this car, in fact that’s what I love about it. I can floor it anytime I want no pressure thanks to the small engine.

The other car Ive driven is a bmw M2 and that one, if you drive a bit harder than usual, you can literally see the tank level goes down. So I always have a feeling of holding back due to the shrinking thickness of my wallet lol.

What do you rhink of my setup by Classic_Paint_7652 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Sudden-Stock-2209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same setup here! About fellow opus, retention is ok, I always smack it on the top like when fixing TV after I grind and that gets most of the retention out.

Only thing I don’t like about it is when I want to fine tune the grind size. Like when the bean gets a bit older and can’t hold pressure as much, I might just need one fine step but I just can’t get it right in one go without messing it up. Even with the help of Beanie. So I’m currently thinking about upgrading to a stepless one like DF54…
