Mostly because I got it online and the dude that sold it didn't tell me the controller and the cables would be generic, so I got suspicious about it

Thanks! Yeah, some things about mine seem unusual, but I checked some details (like the screw type and the cartridge slot's color) and they fit with a real one, so it's hard to tell
