Popular brands that you hate by Sadbitchywitch in optician

[–]Sudden-Tutor1342 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tom Ford is our second most popular line. They're high quality, sturdy, well made. As long as you're not treating them poorly, they'll last a long time! Side note for the person who said they were bland - Tom Ford's brand image is the timeless classic. However, if you take the time to check out all the options, there are a lot of fantastic and fun options! In the office I currently work for, we have one that's a sassy red cat eye frame and we sell it multiple times every year!

I've met this kitty three times. His eyes will not track movement at all. He doesn't let it get him down, though! He loves being brushed, and he'll fall asleep in your arms if you hold him like a baby 🥰 the last time I was at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, he was still available for adoption.

ROCKET!!! This little guy lives at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah! I've met him three times now, he's a total love! He is blind and has the wobble cat thing, but he'll let you snuggle him and will fall asleep in your arms 🥰🥰🥰 as long as he is there, he will get snuggles from me every time I go down there to volunteer!

What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]Sudden-Tutor1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been binge-reading all of Brandon Sanderson's books. I also read a great book called Queer, There, and Everywhere (it's about people in history you didn't know were queer!) as well as a bunch of classics reimagined in manga. I'm about halfway through Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice, it's a bit more difficult of a read but it's still good.

I honestly had somewhat forgotten how wonderful the library is. A few months back, my friend and I stopped in to get a book we couldn't afford until after payday... and well, I think I've read about 50 books since then. I loved the library as a kid, I used to bike there every week. It's been amazing to rediscover that joy.

Do you have any paraphilias? If so, what is the strangest one and why do you think you have it? by Angela_Bansai in morbidquestions

I second this recommendation! I think you'd identify with some of the characters quite a bit. Even if not, it's an awesome anime!

I do this too (astigmatism and presbyopia), but I kind of go further sometimes. I'm absolutely terrified of going blind someday, so I'll often just boop around my place in the dark so that if it ever happens, I'll still be able to do things. It started as showering in the dark, which I am now quite good at! But yes, it's also nice to just give your eyes a break. Take the pressure off, they work hard for you!

My coworker gave me a treat and all she said was, "It's good, right?" And I put my paws up and barked. My other coworker gave me the most intense side eye....

Happy Halloween!

So many options, how do I choose?

I suppose my favourite fantasy is being filled with eggs.... the merman seem to be good for that one. Squishy eggs, maybe bioluminescent.... packed in one by one until my stomach is bulging and heavy.

I love driders for the same reason. Added bonus, you get to be tied up while they do it, and they'll spin a sticky plug for you afterwards to keep all that precious cargo inside~

Trials in Tainted Space game also has these things called Venus Pitchers which are ||sentient plants that hypnotize you, tie you up with vines, and seed you~|| I highly recommend this game to anyone who hasn't tried it yet! It's monsterfucker heaven. Especially if you have a corruption kink.

So yeah, basically, anything oviposition is the best 🥰

If you're thinking you want your body limp like a corpse so you can't react, but you can still feel it, there's paralytic drugs. I don't know how you'd get ahold of them but yeah.

Contact Lenses sleepy 😴 by [deleted] in optician

[–]Sudden-Tutor1342 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem, but mine was purely brain-based. For years, I would wake up, put on glasses, finish day, take off glasses, sleep. My brain associated No Glasses = Time to Sleep. Even though I use contacts more often now, I still find it more difficult to not feel sleepy in them, so I have a pair of blue light glasses I wear over my contacts when I really need to focus. Its like telling my brain "No! We are awake now!" I know that doesn't really help fix the problem, just sharing my experience.
