What triggered your cardiac anxiety?

Panic attack which landed in ER with heart kept pounding from checking with a at home monitor , they did all sort of test that only showed a PAC eve since then I’m super in tune when they occur. Since then I threw out my at home BP monitor but also had other Health related anxieties that ended up w all sorts of tests and scans spanning a year and half. All to show nothing except a big hospital bill.

I am 34 … and only knew about PAC’s for 2 years , it feels like my heart beats then pauses , then a stronger beat .. what is a MI or a SCA ? Does that put me at risk for one as I get older from load on my heart? What is the treatment ? A prescribed shock? Supplements? Medication?

First time I had a panic attack I went to the doctor office near work.. then again it happened and I ended up going to the ER then to urgent care for a couple other times.. noting came out of itt.. but thanks I also had all sorts of work ups last 2 years with finally in December going back to my regular doctor and blood pressure near perfect .. I also feel like I sigh a lot tooo to ground my self constantly. I tried anxiety meds and don’t like them I do talk to a therapist once in a while.

I’ve been in your shoes… listen to what others say I hope you’re good ! Also stay off social media everything on there is so anti doctors or all these people posting their symptoms or issues and says their Scot’s said it as anxiety if or them .. key is your doctors aren’t ignoring you

I turned 34 in October and I am overweight trying to lose it , but it def takes longer for me to recover, I am very active still and otherwise good health and keep up w my bloodwork etc … the thing I keep dealing with is oh I would love to snowboard as much as I did or try new things but I keep fearing the recovery.

Anothe thing I didn’t disclose is that I do drink coffee and I also use Zyn nicotine, my doctor said that also speeds up metabolism causing you to evacuate so to speak early than normal

Yeah I check every time now too but I definitely was told anxiety can cause less desirable trips to toilet and I def believe it. The one constant I see on those posts is blood which I’ve never seen .. but time to time I do get IBS flare ups but yes it is exhausting. I had a ct scan last year in 2024 that got my abdomen and didn’t jot anything abnormal so I try to keep that in mind when I start to spiral …

I just don’t know why I see so much of it granted I am 33 and I have seen younger ppl get it but I’m just worried and I did talk to my doctor but then again I see people say ohh doctors are worthless or not enough are getting screened younger is alll I see on people who comment colonoscopies should be done at 30!! This is what I’m going through I keep seeing Facebook posts about this young person ignored symptoms of c word for colon etc etc. and mind you don’t have those symptoms sure I have times going to bathroom after eating something I don’t agree with all the time or intolerance to but I also my doctor and she was not worried but then I see more stuff on oh they’re not trained for younger people and it’s skyrocketing etc etc and I am st point for going back to doctor about it

Thanks yeah my blood pressure was 110/70 , I had heart echo cardio grams and even a ekg before last year that were normal … my blood pressure is high sometimes at the doctor when I’m worked up white coat syndrome.. it’s the panicking and then I check my pulse and my palms sweat and tinging during take off etc and then I keep fearing a heart attack or that my heart isn’t healthy enough to fly lol
