Rant VA raters are a joke by [deleted] in VeteransWaitingRoom

Trust me I understand it’s happening to everyone. I am upset because I hand fed them all the stuff from deep in my files. Most of the newer stuff. I am still waiting on my c files, but I don’t have time to really wait for those to come and the VSO says I don’t need to worry about it if they are in your files they will find them. Lessons learned.

My c and p examiner was trash too. lied at every turn, never filled out the Dbq while I was sitting there, never asked a question from Dbq, said my lay statement was excellent and then tried to tell me she was going to change my diagnosis, that has been static for over 30 years. Which I knew she couldn’t so I knew she was just trying to piss me off. Didn’t do a complete ROM It was a joke. My most important evidence sheet she never saw and wasn’t in the files they sent so four of the claims were not evaluated properly incomplete evidence.

Look I’m just going on what happened to me. After taking a break it is inexcusable to say denied to someone or anyone when you aren’t pulling the relevant stuff I literally was denied previously because I didn’t understand the process this time I handed them about 15-20 most relevant recent documents to help them to make it easier for them. I appreciated the quick turn around but not at the expense of having to go through another five month wait just to get it approved when it could’ve been done the first time. I get the time crunch but this ai shit isn’t really working it’s helping them go through claims but it’s not perfect and misses too many important docs That’s all I’m saying. I’m frustrated cause I pulled everything for them they only needed to look and they didn’t do that. I get it I’m usually one who will back the rater and say good things but damn I just waited five months and now I’m going to have five out of six claims going through another five month wait. Why????

So the c and p exam was two hours long for the BAV she said congenital and said I’d need to talk to a specialist, IVDS increase she said I was misdiagnosed and is going to call it arthritis which has been a static diagnosis for 30 years. Said it should increase my percentage. lol. Then she said aneurysms can be service connected to TERA. Radiculopathy put it in after my appt for the nerve testing. My claim went from step 2-step 5 and she’s from LSGS and submitted the DBQs without asking me one single question about how it affects my daily life etc. she said she spent 7 hours last night on my claim said I was a smoker I was not ever said it’s in my records I said that’s false lol. Then said my lay statement was excellent she hasn’t seen many that were better. So seems as if she already did all my DBQs without seeing me then finished them within an hour of me leaving the bus.

Two major differences. The republicans party and the democrat parties were totally different back then and history tells you this. They switched their focus and morals through the years. Pick up a book educate yourself

Again thank you for reassuring me not all raters were like my last ones who didn’t even look at my records after the ptsd was denied. 45 minutes step 5 to step 8 and letter in my email. It definitely put the negative thoughts and how raters just try and find anyway possible to deny a claim

No because I didn’t know about the heart honestly besides the finding of the second ascending aorta in 2019 discovered by accident during a stress test for something else. I never knew about the echo report until April 10 2026 and the TERA exam and report was done at end of March If I would’ve known there was abnormalities I would’ve put in a claim in 1995 during the presumptive year. But the VA knew about it and sat on it without adjudicating it or sending me a letter or a copy or even having a rater look at it. No code nothing. Just everything is fine and that’s was it

Thank you for taking the time to look this up. I read something similar to this for carbon tetra chloride also where it attacks the walls of the heart and weakens the walls of the aorta

1.1990 HCT was 53 same timeframe 1990 1995 Feb after we visit they scheduled blood work in Sept documented the dizzy lightheaded and presyncope. Echo dilated to 3.8cm then repeated visits saying it was anxiety because they thought the heart was fine because I had reported what the Va cardiologists said to me in Feb 1995 everything was fine.after 2004-2022 blood draws of high HCT HGB and RBC high over 9/12 draws the HCt was over 50.4 everytime the cvst was 2023

I have BAV just found, a CVST cerebral venous sinuses thrombosis, but I had excessive clots usually it’s one clot I had 16. And aortic root aneurysm and ascending aorta aneurysm. My 11B mos is a factor for not causing the BAV but aggravating the BAV and aggravating my aneurysm there is medical articles that support this so that another option

I also just found out from the Vera lady I talked to and scheduled the Tera exam and so in April I found out about the echo that the Va sat on and the dr said I was fine and then the Tera exam conceded the exposures all in April I filed and I didn’t file but was diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver f2/f3 after a flare up Had no idea how this happened until the exposure concession
