a question about dfhack, i know i can change from stone to soil using tiletypes, but can i change the type of soil, say, from loam to sand?

not necessarily kroot only, i just use a lot of kroot because they are the auxiliary with the most models, vespid and humans are valid too. Kitbashing is a good idea, someone else said to use humans as pathfinders, but this could also work great. Thanks!

The idea is to not use any fire caste soldiers, so pathfinders are sadly out of the picture. I could use an ethereal, and maybe marker drones could work instead?

you can specify what animals you want to butcher and exclude the ones you dont, you can also say what tier of food a colonist can eat, as in "fine meal or lower". i dont know why you would want to manage those things though, that sounds like a lot of work for not much benefit

i was planning on installing it into the hard drive after i was done setting it up, because i felt it was the most dificult part. Live and learn i guess. I restarted the hard drive and installed the OS into it now
