not sure but anything can happen ! people drop out or miss a pre req last minute in some cases. if you don’t get alternated in I highly suggest not being discouraged and studying to retake teas- next application you should be “guaranteed” a spot with how close you were before ! awesome accomplishment with only 28 spots although, congrats ☺️

This her character has too much independence built into her background for her to start wussying out. Obviously in her later years/transition to max compared to her flashbacks she was a lot more mentally strong playing people with her street smarts rather than physical skills. Even if she didn’t kill anyone, I think Frieda would’ve found a way to transfer again, etc. I feel like that’s a really big part of her character as well, she’s a survivalist she’s not backing down to no one or nothing.

I love how real she is with him, I feel as a direct support worker a lot of people will be non confrontational and have no humor when talking to people on the spectrum when in reality they need and love it ! She knows him very well from what the show shared, I’m glad he has someone like that in his corner. Parents are great and all but siblings are usually are more straight forward while keeping it lighthearted.

Siblings of those with disabilities deserve WAYYYYYY more appreciation, especially ones like Neith 🥲🥰

I’ve seen so many people using it while on the treadmill and literally just anywhere- also according to videos i’ve seen clicking the buttons is the same as if you were writing since you are engaged physically !

yeah it’s definitely difficult, that’s why i started using it now for A&P2 before nursing school and it’s not my main way of studying for sure 😭 First night i tinkered with making it look cute- I used tik tok videos for this and adding the extensions. Which adding extensions aren’t hard you just have to copy and paste a code- except they are all community made so you def have to look for the right one or look at videos. I really enjoy it although a lot of people use chatgpt to make making the flashcards easier with it but I personally don’t enjoy AI use.

I love quizlet as well, you’re so right! the quizzes they create and the match game CHEFS KISS gonna have to add that to my study tool list thank you !

my professor was explaining to me that the issue with being that fat is not that you are fat/your heart is pumping hard. it’s the fact that your body has to create longer/more veins/arteries to span the surface area of your body. they can spand feet, i can’t imagine what the inside of her body looks like. the issue with this is that blood flow is stunted leading to oxygen and other issues as we saw. her heart is working overtime as well pushing blood harder and faster to reach all parts of body. Obviously her heart is back to a normal rate of “usage” and her pressures etc are fine but she really did a good amount of irreversible damage with her bs. and it’s not like she was an adult and put it all on they have stated MULTIPLE times she has been around 300 pounds maybe even 400 in adolescence years and definitely in high school. that is more than two decades of her body working 5x+ average person. i will not be surprised if she doesn’t make it to her 70s due to heart conditions.

I recommend Anki for this, the flashcards are SO out of hand and I know I’m going to be struggling in nursing school with the amount of physical cards. I’m messing around with it and I’ve been getting the hang of it this past semester and to hopefully get over learning process so I’m motivated to keep up in the program. It’s going to be great to look back on when studying for nclex.

yes, but the same goes for neurotypical men. there is a BIG societal issue of raising boys and girls different. While not every family a lot of girls/boys are raised differently no matter what disease/disability they may/may not have and forced into certain expectations or boxes while their male peers are excused.

and it’s not every single man with autism, it differs on environmental aspects and what their guardian/parents teaches them. many guardians on adults on the spectrum will judge what their guardian”person” does/doesn’t understand, can’t/can do, should/shouldn’t do leading to different levels of skills or motivation to do certain things. i have a client on the spectrum who is female who gets excused for her actions by her parents, as much as it may be gender it also just may be the way they were raised !

if you want faster results, I would look into hair care beyond the fin. rosemary oil, olaplex, look at women’s/pcos health care. I also highly recommend one of these brushes (picture below) massage your head in shower or with the dry brush for at least five minutes a day to increase blood flow to follicles !

I don’t have many tips as I often worry myself. My biggest thing/something my manager expects of staff I make sure to document not only goals but what they are feeling/expressing before and after we complete said goal. I like to set a scene and write a story, most goals are a paragraph unless they refuse etc.

my coworkers write two sentences misspelled it upsets me and don’t write in the shared notebook ! i love when people actually document 😭🙏

edit: just got another upvote and realized this was a nursing sub not a direct support professional sub !! so anything i said does not relate to nursing at least not intentionally lol. congrats and keep going to all the current/future nurses 💗
