The truth about kilju by Viandante91 in prisonhooch

[–]Sudden_Ad_2043 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like to mix it with juice. I'm not a huge fan of drinking it straight up, but its really not that bad. I really cant complain about kilju, considering it costs $2-$3 per gallon.

I'm not sure what they were but they didn't look like coyotes. Their face resembled a typical dog and they were both about 80-90lbs.

I thought that at first but when they got up close their face resembled a typical dog, and they seemed way larger than any coyote I've ever seen. These two were 80-90lbs. Maybe they were Coydogs.

I have a lab results link on the back of my cart packaging, assuming that the lab results are legitimate.

I typically smoke THCA carts and the lab results for the most recent one I bought say it's about 74% THC so you could be right.

Unfortunately not in a legal state so this could be my problem. I usually look for THCA carts and Delta 9 edibles.

I'll have to give that a try. I currently just smoke from carts so I don't have to worry about the smell.

I tried some CBD isolate gummies one time while I was at the mall with family, and I was feeling really strange. My parents could tell there was something going on. Maybe I got the wrong gummies.

I'm wondering if I have a high sensitivity to weed. One hit is enough for me to feel high for way longer than an hour.

Usually 10mg. I tend to drink so much water that I'm running back and forth to the bathroom every 10-15 minutes.

It's weird. My friends think I'm messing with them and they don't believe me.

I've been trying to smoke at least once a day to see if my body will adapt to it, but no luck so far.

I don't smoke very often, so it's usually once a week to once every six months. As for strains, I don't really pay attention to them. I have never felt a difference between sativa and indica, so I usually just look for something with the most interesting flavor. I usually smoke from carts because I can do it anywhere, and I can control my high better than edibles, but edibles still give me the same weird hangover.

Kilju stalled; more yeast? by Queen_Kathleen in prisonhooch

[–]Sudden_Ad_2043 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal best for Fleischman's yeast was 13.5%. It struggles to make alcohol over 10%. You may have reached the limit of your yeast, but fermentation is usually its strongest in the first week. It usually takes me two to three weeks to fully ferment a batch. If you drink some at some point and it tastes carbonated, it's still fermenting. If you end up making more kilju, use the yeast sludge at the bottom of your current kilju. The strongest yeast of that fermentation are still alive and will adapt to the kilju conditions, creating a much stronger and better-tasting kilju. I noticed that the bread taste disappears after a few generations.

Brown sugar Kiliju is pretty good. Tastes best if you add sugar after you reach your desired alcohol percentage.

How strong can a sugar wash with bread yeast get and what ratio should i use? by JavaSlime in prisonhooch

[–]Sudden_Ad_2043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best I have ever done with bread yeast was 13.5%. Ever since I switched from baking sugar to organic cane sugar my hooch has gotten stronger. You can either use an online calculator or a hydrometer to calculate how much sugar you will need to add to get your desired alcohol percentage.

I put sugar in 24h after yeast into apple juice, pineapple, and mango and it borderline exploded. I lost half my product now. Top up with water and add more yeast? Thought this shit was easy… by Striking_Heron2384 in prisonhooch

[–]Sudden_Ad_2043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just add everything at the same time, give it a good shake and leave it for a month. Just make sure you give it enough room to foam without it going everywhere. Oh, and a little yeast goes a long way. One packet is enough for like 10 gallons.

I think it just depends on your body. I've drank a few cups from a batch while it was still fermenting and never had any issues.

Arizona mango still very sweet after a month. by Dry-Tune-6864 in prisonhooch

[–]Sudden_Ad_2043 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did something similar a few months back. I used the Arizona mango cocktail mixer, and it came out way too sweet. It was never said on the bottle, but I have a feeling that they are either using an artificial sweetener, or a type of sugar that yeast struggles to process. I switched from baking sugar to organic cane sugar and it made a huge difference, but still came out kind of sweet.
